One boy stands out above the rest - he’s tall and lanky, confident, a curly mop of black hair bouncing as he shouts commands and swings his sword and runs and jumps and laughs.Stede feels an unexplainable pull toward this pirate boy and can't keep himself from coming back to the park again and again to watch him.When Ed and Stede’s paths finally cross, their soul connection cultivates a deep friendship where their unconditional love for each other serves as a light in the darkness.This was originally written for the Big Bang, and was going to follow Ed and Stede from childhood through adulthood. But the story grew and grew, and I didn't have time to write it in it's entirety, so Part 1 is only the beginning. Ed and Stede have so many more adventures to come - most of which are already outlined or drafted :)
